What you need
- A domain (You can get one from https://name.com)
- Free Gmail Account (http://gmail.com)
- Free Cloudflare Account (https://www.cloudflare.com)
1. Create a domain
If you do not have a domain and you wanted to get one, we suggests to get one from Name.com, enter PRIVACYPLEASE to get US$4.99 off the SSL Advanced Security and Privacy promo.
2. Add the Domain to Cloudflare
Create a Cloudflare account first, then add your domain to Cloudflare and following the instruction to change the Nameserver to Cloudflare.
Select any plan, including the Free plan
3. Forward [email protected] to you Gmail
Go to Email Routing, then add the email destination to your Gmail.
That’s it 😉
Now, to setup Sent From your own domain, go to Gmail
4. Setup Sent From @yourdomain.com
First, you need a App Password
Go to you Manage your Google Account (click your avatar on the upper-right screen)
Then find App Passwords
Make sure you have 2-Step Verification ON in the Security menu
Generated app password
Save it down somewhere
Back to Gmail Settings
In Accounts and Import, click add another email address
Enter your Gmail as Username and the password generated earlier (Not your Gmail Password)
Confirm Add Account Email
You will receive a Add Account Email from Google, confirm it.
That’s all. Now you can send email as [email protected] from your Gmail account.
